DHC Hair Cosmetic Series Hair Lotion Morning Review

Hello hello! I'm doing a review for this hair product that I bought from sasa. I first heard this from Eki and decided to buy one for myself from Sasa since she did a great review about it. I'm soooo happy that I did buy it! Great stuff! I usually use it in the morning when I do not have the time to shower. I spray my hair with water first then spritz this afterwards and blow dry it in "cool" setting.. Oh my! It leaves my hair silky soft and smooth. I love how it smells too.. It has a very girly smell.. haha..That's how I imagine it everytime I smell it.. XD corny...lol Anyway, you guys should check out her blog.. She gives great reviews on products.. :)Thanks to her, this is going to my HG items haha!

If you guys are planning to buy one, better hurry.. It gets sold out quick! I actually have to wait for mine to be in stock. As soon as this item was in stock that time, I jumped and bought it already and was thinking to buy two at the time but they do not allow me to buy two of these for some reason. It cost me $11.00 from sasa plus shipping.. The last time I checked which was 5 minutes ago, this item is still in stock.. Please let me know if you guys got it...If so, how was it? Did you like it? Any pros or cons?

Have Fun!

Skin Care at Night

I want to share my nightly skin care regimen. I've tried so many skin care products out there for my face to use at night but failed. Either I will have those bumps on my face or my face will turn really oily. I was so desperate to try every single products out there and found LANEIGE skin care line. This product is well known in South Korea. I gave it a go after explaining it to the saleslady my skin condition. I have a combination skin. Every summer, my skin will be oily and when winter hits, I get these dry patches on my face.. gross! So I finally made the purchase and I'm really glad I did. I've been using the LANEIGE skin care for awhile now.

From left to right: Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner_EX, Laneige Balancing Emulsion 1_EX, Laneige Water Bank Essence_EX, Laneige Water Sleeping Pack_EX, Laneige Water Bank Cream 1_EX
1. After cleansing, I saturate the cotton with this onto my clean face. I love how it smells like. :)

Product Benefits:

- Removes dried keratin and purifies the skin for clear and transparent skin.
- Bio Dusali, extracted from fermented seaweed with strong energy of life, supplies energy to the skin and promotes keratin turnover, while the Hyacinth extracts purify the skin from heavy metal, smog, and other harmful materials to leave the skin moist and transparent.
- Exfoliating enzymes gently remove the dead skin cells with less irritation. Skin-nourishing royal jelly extracts and sugar cane extracts refine dry and rough skin for moist and healthy skin.

2. After applying the refiner, I apply this on my face.

Product Benefits:

- Hydro balancing emulsion for dry and rough skin to keep soft and transparent.
- Bio Dusali, extracted from fermented seaweed with strong energy of life, supplies energy to the skin and promotes keratin turnover, while the Hyacinth extracts purify the skin from heavy metal, smog, and other harmful materials to leave the skin moist and transparent.
- Jojoba oil, similar to the moisture barrier of the skin, and royal jelly, rich in nutrition, effectively moisturizes dry skin.

3. Then after step 2, I apply the Water Bank Essence. (Around a hazel-nut sized amount)

Product Benefits:

- A 24-hour long-lasting moisture essence that contains mineral water for skin regeneration and Water Pump System for moisture circulation to safeguard skin moisture and hold it in to leave the skin moisturized and smooth.

- Instantly dampens the skin with ample moisture and forms a natural moisture barrier on skin surface to protect the moisture that is in the skin.

- Contains chestnut extracts and seaweed extracts to enhance keratin turnover to fight roughness and energizes the skin for a smooth and healthy texture.

4. After the essence, I apply this which is the last step. (hazel-nut sized amount too)

Product Benefits:

- A 24-hour long-lasting moisture cream with a strong hydrating effect and a rich texture to refine a rough skin into a smooth and shiny skin.

- Contains mineral water for skin regeneration and Water Pump System for a moisture circulation to safeguard skin moisture and hold it in to leave the skin moisturized and smooth.

- Contains grape seed oil and mango seed oil with anti-oxidant and soothing properties to emulsify the skin and supply nutrition and energy.

Twice a week I use the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack:

After applying the refiner and emulsion, I will skip the other steps to put this. You can use it once or twice a week. It depends on how dry your skin is. After taking the appropriate amount, I mark my nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead, then gently massage it on my face then working towards my neck.

Product Benefits:

Night time skin transmission (permeability) shows higher rate than the one in the day time.
Applying it right before sleep time, the best state for the skin transmission according to the skin circadian rhythm, maximizes the efficiency of overnight water supply.
The function of skin remarkably declines in the night time. Enriched with Beta-glucan, Water Sleeping Pack_EX deeply hydrates fatigue and dry skin while Ceramide SLN formula strengthens the skin barrier.
With containing the Snow Water, it helps to keep your skin look more crystal clear and vitalized.

- Antioxidant effect of Hunza Apricot Extracts helps brighten skin tone evenly by removing harmful oxygen and purifying skin.

- Recoverine from Chestnuts promotes turnovers of horny layers to remove dead cells away for vigorous water supply and sleek skin texture.

- An aromatic essence compound exclusively developed by AMOREPACIFIC, Sleepscent™(Patent application No. 10-2009-0043726), helps to relax your mind and body and derive for a good sleep. A good sleep effect allowing sufficient relaxation eventually reinforces skin restoration for healthier skin condition. Essential oils from Orange Flower, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Sandal Wood etc. are contained in the Sleepscent™.

- Light gel-type texture without stickiness but moisture leaves you a comfortable sleep.

That's all! I know this is a multi-step skin regimen but it works for me. Now, I actually have the courage to try something else like the Shiseido White Lucent skin care. I love the sample that was given to me by my friend, which is the Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balance Softener.

The Laneige Basic Skin Care makes my skin very soft and smooth. No more oily face and dry patches during the winter. :)

Have you guys tried any LANEIGE skin care products? Let me know what you think about it.

Different Blogs

Hi guys again! I'm thinking of separating each of my interests into a different blog. I don't want to confuse the readers asking "..so is this blog for make up or traveling?" Now, I'm contemplating to make a separate one for cooking and traveling. This blog will remain active strictly for make up and product reviews, make up hauls, etc. only. The others will be on a different blog. I will give you guys a heads up about my new blogs and will post the URLs here when it's up and running. Again, I am NOT deleting this blog.

Possible new blogs:
~For Traveling
~For Cooking
~Kawaii stuff/ Accessories (or maybe it should be included here too together with fashion since they kinda fall in the same category anyway)

I will let you guys know soon!

Boys Over Flowers - Kissing Star Necklace

Hi guys! I just wanted to share with you how I love and how I'm addicted to the korean drama "Boys Over Flowers" This time, I'm actually watching it for the second time with friends and bought all the volumes (2 DVD boxsets). Well to make my blabbering short, I bought a replica of the the necklace that was shown in that drama which is the Kissing Star Necklace. (Goo Jun Pyo gave it to Geum Jan Di). Well I don't know if you guys know what I'm talking about but it's worth seeing this drama. Anyway, I fell in love with that necklace and started my search craze for that necklace online which I found on Yesasia for $10.99! Oh how happy I was when I found it! LOL XD. The necklace arrived 2 weeks ago and I do not have any spare time to blog about it and share it with you guys that time. So here I am blogging about it..hehe.  Even though of course it's a replica, I <3 it so much that I almost wear it everyday.

Do you guys think it's pretty too? :)

Do guys have any favorite movies/drama etc as well? If so, please share! ;-)

Volturi vs. Bobbi Brown Review (Achieve Twilight's vampires sparkling skin)

This review is way overdue by the way. Ok so I know there are tons of Twilight die hard fans out there who want to achieve that vampire look: pale, red lips, sparkling skin. Well I'm here to review about two products which I found interesting to do a review on achieving that sparkling skin everytime the sun hits it. I bought the Volturi Twilight Immortal and Bobbi Brown Shimmering Body Oil. I wanted to compare both of these products based on how sparkly your skin can get. Remember we want to achieve that look ;-)

And don't worry! Your skin won't turn black with the Volturi one..lol

Here's the Volturi:

It comes with a nice bottle too!

Sorry! My hands are dry >.< Anyway I put a drop on my hand to show its consistency.

After:

Can you guys see the glitters?? :)  By the way, this one is unscented.

Next will be Bobbi Brown Shimmering Body Oil:

Don't forget to shake it..or else the distribution of its sparkling goodies wouldn't be even. :)

This one of course is liquidy compared to the other one because of the oil. Smells great too! Reminds me of summer...

You cannot really see it that much on this picture but it's less than the previous one. However, you can still see the sparkles in some angles. This is very subtle.

Overall:

I like the Volturi one in terms of the sparkliness. You can put it anywhere you want on your body. Nice shimmer! The Bobbi Brown one isn't too sparkly and it's a bit too shiny for the skin because of the oil. I would recommend it when you're at the beach. You get that glow on your body! In this review, I would recommend for you guys to try the Volturi Twilight Immortal one. Well it's really up to you guys which one you want but personally I like the first one better. Hopefully this review helped!

See ya!

XD I have three shipments coming (hopefully by next week it's here). I ordered something from sasa, sephora, and twilightbeauty.com. Yes the last one seems a little strange. I wanted to do a review for those twilight fans out there (including me) :) haha Anyway, I was browsing through their website and found interesting eyeshadows(very dramatic ones) and before I forget, they actually have a sale going on right now throughout December: everything is 50% off. Here's the link: Twilight Beauty and they ship for free for orders $50 and up. You guys should check it out. I will post it up here as soon as I get it and have a review about it after a month or so to test everything out.

Bye for now! =)

Newsflash!!!! ^^

I've been MIA for awhile now.. With school and work, i cannot make time to do blogs. However, on the bright side, I will be getting on with those reviews I've been wanting to do since semester is almost done.. yippee!! ^_^ Anyway, how was your Thanksgiving?? Mine went pretty good. Spent time with family and played BINGO.. =P What about Black Friday? Did you guys went shopping?? I just went to H&M and bought some scarves, beanies, a decent coat for 50% off (orig. $69.95). Also, I bought a new camera! I ordered it yesterday from Amazon and got the Canon Rebel T2i with EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and a 16GB SanDisk Extreme memory card. This Thursday or Friday, my bf and I are going to get some materials for my lightbox. We will just make the DIY one since it's pretty cheap that way, unlike spending $100 for it so might as well make our own. Anyway, enough blabbering for now...Have a good one! ^^,

FINE Hyaluron & Collagen: How to Prepare

So yesterday I told you guys about this powder. I got it from Cosmeland in Rowland Heights. A gift for myself obviously ^__^. I've been wanting to buy this product since SaSa advertised it on their website buy 2 get 1 free. If I order it from them, it will take at least 2-3 weeks to get here and I cannot wait that long O.o When I found out that Cosmeland is about 30 to 45 minutes away, I have to go there haha.. By the way, cosmelandusa website is the same as Cosmeland store (it's the exact store where you guys buy all those beauty products!) I'm so lucky that this place is here in CA and in my vicinity. To my surprise, they were selling the FINE Hyaluron & Collagen too! I'm soooo happy! ^_____^ So i bought just 1 can for now to try it out. Yesterday was my first day of drinking this and it's so yummy! I can't wait to drink it again later on. =P

Anyway, here are my simple steps to prepare this delicious drink:

But first of all, this powder can be added in your milk (which I did)

You can also add it in your favorite morning coffee, cereal/oats etc:

And with your pancakes! ^__^

Here's my simple steps for making a nice cup of milk with FINE:

1. Here's what it looks like inside. (it comes with a free scoop too!)

2. Here's the milk and glass.

3. Get one scoop of FINE Hyaluron & Collagen powder for one cup of milk.

4. Put it in an empty cup.

5. Then, pour in the milk.

6. Stir it well until the powder is completely dissolved.

7. DONE!

Happy Drinking! ^__^

I love the taste so much that I wanted another cup of milk. It's sooo yummy! But it's recommended to consume one scoop of FINE in one day. Today is my second day of drinking this but I will wait until before I go to sleep and drink it tonight.

Where to buy:

Cosmeland
1600 S Azusa Ave
#246
Rowland Heights, CA 91748

There's another product of FINE in their website but I don't know if it's the same. They have the pink can one (the one i have) in their store. Make sure contact them and ask before you order.

I've posted this link to take you straight to the product.

My best recommendation is to buy the product at Sasa.com. It's cheaper: $45. Since if you buy 2 you get the 3rd can for free. Also it's free shipping on orders over $75.But if you only wanted to get 1, you can just pay the shipping fee of $6. But the wait time is too long =/ If you're willing to wait then it's a good deal. I paid mine for $55 plus tax and of course I get to try it right away. Next time, I will order through sasa before the deal expires. I think it's good until November 30th or when supplies last.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading this!

Lovely Gifts from Lovely Fam/Friends ^__^

I just told you guys from my previous posts that it was my birthday last Friday and I just wanted to share what they got for me. I'm so happy with the gifts and also excited to try them all out!

One of my friends gave me this adorable accessories holder. It's pastel pink. I've been raving to get one of these myself but never seen nice ones around. Yet. she found it! Thanks a lot!! <3

Urban Decay!

hmm what's inside that box? =D

It's an urban decay eyeshadow palette which includes the eyeshadow primer potion. I love the colors! It has a mirror on the side too. Very nice.. =D

They have given me this Sephora Collection of OPIs. Love the colors again by the way. I cannot wait to try them on.

Almost forgot about this one... This one came with the accessories holder. It's part of that gift hehe.. I've tried one on yesterday and today and my hands feel soft and smooth. I've been complaining about how my hands get so dry and hopefully this is the solution! =)

My mom gave me this foot scrub kit. It looks fabulous as well. I cannot wait to try them either. It looks very eco-friendly in a way. :) Thanks mom!

Another one are these lovely scented candles. They smell delish! I don't understand what it says but I think it's from Nicaragua. Looking at it I think it's made from coffee beans and of course the smell as well.

Can you guys see the beans???  Smells great!
It came with a lovely card as well. So sweet!
I don't know why my uploader is messing up? My photos have been going to different directions. Anyway, my bf got me these. Oh gosh! I've been wanting to get this for myself. Thanks so much!

It looks gorgeous! I cannot stop looking at it.. I feel like I don't want to wear them too lol.. It's too pretty.. haha =P Thanks again bun! (well just in case you guys didn't know that's my endearment for him) :)

And of course I made gave myself a treat too! I went to Cosmeland in Rowland Heights since I don't even want to bother having the items ship from their online store might as well go directly there.

 what's in the box??? =)
